While we will do our best to minimise downtime whenever possible, there will always been occasions where we will need to reboot the server or schedule downtime. For example, this can include changing or upgrading a component or installing a new Kernel. Currently, including planned downtime, the average uptime for our servers is 99.96% (as of September, 2007).
Whenever possible, we will make a point of notifying customers beforehand of any changes or downtime via our Announcement Mailing List (more details can be found in the following News and Knowledgebase links). We recommend that all customers sign-up to it as this (and our News section) are the only places where we make these announcements).
