All our hosting accounts have support for automatic backups. Within Plesk there are a selection of options relating to the setup and management of automated back ups for your domain.
The only limitation to using the automtic backup feature is that your domain is suspended during the back up process. This is to prevent users/visitors changing anything on your website (i.e. a forum where a user will make a post mid way through a backup).
Any changes to your account can cause problems with creating or restoring the backup, and as worst, to become corrupt. With this in mind, we recommended that you set the backup to be performed 'out of hours' (usually between 2am and 6am).
