If you have previously setup a Redirect on a mail account and it's no longer needed you can remove be following almost the same steps as creating it in the first please.
However, it's worth noting here than a Mail Group can perform the same function as a Redirect. If a Mail Group as been setup instead of a Redirect, please see the article on removing a Mail Group.
Setup
- First, log onto the Plesk Control Panel (all details can be found in the 'Account Details' e-mail, dispatched to you when your account is activated).
- If you have logged on at the Client Level (this is the default level), please click on the name of the domain you wish to add the e-mail address to. This will load the domain's settings page.
- Now click on the Mail icon, followed by the name of the e-mail account you wish to remove the redirect from.
- Click on Redirect.
- De-select the tick-box next to Redirect. This is disable the redirect. If the tick-box isn't selected, then redirect hasn't been setup on this account. If you are still receive forwarded e-mails via this account you may need to remove the Mail Group setting.
- Click OK.
Again, this change is instant, and all new incoming e-mails will now be handled by this account. If you wish for the account to store e-mails, please see our article on setting up a mailbox on an existing account.
